 Ordering

The easiest way to order is through our online shopping cart, but you can also order by email or telephone.  Simply send an email to sales@waxtasticcandles.co.uk with your order and make the payment through paypal (sales@waxasticcandles.co.uk) or buy cheque sent to the address below.  Alternatively, call us on 07590663778, where someone will answer directly or an answering service is available.

Payments

We currently accept payment via PayPal, cheque, Postal Order or cash (sent Recorded Delivery, at customers own risk).  

 

Shipping

Delivery Charge

Delivery charges on standard UK orders (excluding wholesale) are as follows:

Orders up to £45  -  £4.95
Orders over £45 -  free delivery
Local deliveries  -  see below

Delivery to all off-shore islands, international and the Scottish Highlands are sent via the Royal Mail "Recorded Signed For" service, and will be charged at cost.  For all such orders please email for a precise delivery charge. 

Local Delivery Charge

Deliveries that are within a 5 mile radius of our base in Hockley will benefit from a discounted delivery charge of £1.50 (where applicable) on all orders.  Please call or email for details of areas covered by this offer.  Alternatively, visit us at one of the craft and gift markets we attend (see Events Diary), place an order, and you can pick it up at the next show, or we can deliver directly to you.

Delivery

Our products are currently shipped using Royal Mail "Recorded Signed For" Delivery, and will have to be signed for on receipt.  If no one is home when they try to deliver they will leave a card, and you will have to go to their office to pick up the parcel.  If the parcel is not collected within 7 days it will be returned to us.  If it is returned to us, then you will be charged a restocking fee of 15%.  If you require the goods to be redelivered then we will have to charge you another delivery fee. 

Please ensure that there will be someone home to accept delivery - we will inform you when it is being sent - or arrange for it to go to another address, such as your work place or a neighbours.

Returns

Please telephone or email us within 7 days of receipt if you are not happy with your order for any reason, and ensure the goods are returned within 14 days.   Goods can be returned to us for a full refund, minus delivery charge; return postage is the customers responsibility.  If the goods are damaged or we got the order wrong then a full refund will be given, minus delivery charge, but including the return postage.  If on the other hand you just changed your mind, then you will be charged the 15% restocking fee.  Customised orders can not be returned.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible.  All candles are made to order, so we will have started work on your order within 24 hours of receipt, if not before.

Customised orders can not be cancelled one we have started on them.  This is due to the fact that customised orders are usually a different colour to that which we normally do for any given fragrance, and could possibly have a problem in selling them.
